In the following days she was cast in three films for Yash Raj Films. She portrayed the bride, who was young and tied to a man in middle in age (the role that Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed with Shahid Kapoor, Vi Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". The movie got mixed reviews. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played the role of a Punjabi woman from the middle class who owns her own wedding company. The film received a positive review. Anushka finished her deal of three films with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
